Levi's

Founded in 1853, Bavarian immigrant to the USA Levi Strauss was the co-founder of Levi's jeans and the process of putting rivets into denim pants for strength.  Originally conceived after the co-founder, tailor Jacob Davis, found that his customers were purchasing cloth to reinforce their denim pants, jean rivets are now seen worldwide.  Levi's now make not only jeans in a plethora of fits and styles, but also T shirts, jackets and clothing for men and women.
