How to Shop
We’ve been away for a while, but now your Scotts online store is back, improved and better than ever. Keeping all of the good stuff that we know you love, with the addition of a whole lot more including bigger pictures, search filters, mini shopping bags and tons of new gear. We may have a brand new site with slicker design and smoother functions, but we still offer the best men’s lifestyle fashion there is....
To give you a helping hand, we've pulled together this 'How to Shop' guide that talks you through the new functionality and sections. We hope you find this useful and enjoy the new site!
Departments top
At scotts we pride ourselves on bringing you the best branded men lifestyle fashion. To make it as easy as possible for you to shop at scotts we spilt our site into three departments - Clothing, Footwear and Accessories - so everything you need to know about each department is in one place. Simply use the links at the top of the site to navigate to the department page of your choice.
Drop Downs top
As well as department links, we have now added dropdowns with quick links that take you straight to the gear within that department you want to look at. So for example if you want to shop for Polo Shirts, simply hover on the Clothing link, move down to Polo Shirts on the drop down, click and you're there! Plus we've added a Sale link to every drop down, so if you're after a bargain its worth a visit!
Filter Menu top
One new function on the site that should make it easier to shop for exactly what you’re after is the Filter Menu.To use the menu simply select which brands, categories, colours, sizes you want to shop.
Once you make a selection this will bring back all the relevant gear that fits with what you have chosen.
You can also select multiple filters, so if you want to look at all the White adidas Originals and Nike trainers in a size UK 8.5 or UK9, then simply click these and it will show you everything we have!
If you’re not happy with your filter, you can simply click the item you have chosen again and it will become de-selected or use the 'Clear selection' button next to each filter name. If you would like to clear all the filters you have selected completely, then simply click on the "Clear all" button and this will clear all filters and you will see all the gear for the department you're in.
Shop by Brand top
You can also shop by Brand and see all the gear we offer from the brand you love. We’ve put all the logos of the brands on one page so when you spot your favourite, simply click on the logo and you will be presented with all the gear from that brand!
Product Page top
Like to see the gear you're about to buy from as many angles as possible?Well we've got detailed pictures on all the detail views you need - simply click the thumbnail (small pictures) and it will appear as the large image. Plus you can zoom in to see even more detail by simply clicking the large image. Zoom in up to four times to really see the detail that makes all the difference!
If you're not sure what size you are, check out the Size Chart tab above the description and you'll find UK, European and US sizes for all the gear. Plus you can find all the information you need about delivery and returns in the tabs too.
Add To Bag top
- To add something to your shopping bag, simply select the colour of your choice (if we have other colourways they will be shown in the Select colour dropdown menu),
- Select the size you would by clicking on it and it will turn black. Please note if you see your size but it is greyed out then unfortunately we do not have any stock left in that size.
- Select the quantity you would like. Please note that due to stock limitations and to make sure you get what you order, you can buy a maximum of two of the same item in the same size in one order.
- Click Add to Bag and you will see the mini bag dropdown at the top of the site. You can then either continue shopping or Checkout. To checkout simply select the check out now button on the product page which appears as soon as you add anything to your bag, or click the "Checkout" button in the mini bag at the top of every page.
Mini-Bag top
The Mini-Bag provides a summary of what's in your shopping bag and is visible at the top of the site until you check out. You can see what you've placed in your Shopping Bag by hovering over the "View Bag" at the top of your screen.
Check Out top
Once you have everything you want in your shopping bag, there are two ways to get to the check out, you can either use the "Checkout Now" button on a product page once you have added an item to your basket or you can click the "Checkout" button at the top of your screen. You will then see a review your order - don’t forget any orders over £75 are shipped direct to your door for free!There are three simple steps to checkout –
- Fill in your details, don’t forget if you would like us to delivery your order to an alternative address, perhaps your work premises, you can simply tick the alternative delivery address box and add it here.
- Check your details and select how you would like to pay and fill in your details. We accept all major credit and debit cards and Paypal.
- Thank you! Your order is now complete and you will receive your order confirmation number.
